Thank you for visiting my website! As a long-time resident of Fayette County, Georgia, I have been creating, developing and maintaining websites for nearly 10 years. My previous experience includes 5 years as a computer programmer and 3 years as a print graphics designer for local ad magazines. As a small business owner myself, I fully understand the dilemmas that come with managing a marketing budget. With so many marketing choices, the need to know how to target that budget within a local marketplace can be critical to the success of the business. We've all seen small businesses open and quickly close because it is so expensive to try to market in so many publications. Add to that the cost of a strong web presence and it's no wonder we become a little skeptical every time we hear of a new way to spend our hard-earned marketing dollars.

One of the biggest difficulties local business owners face with their websites is having a site that actually does perform by being coming up well on search engines. The cost of producing a website can become overwhelming and I often find that business owners don't think their website is paying them back for their effort - and it probably isn't. Although there is a lot to be gained by having a strong website to refer to in ads and business listings, there is so much more to be gained with a website that is found by local people seeking local businesses on the the search engines.

The second difficulty I have learned frequently occurs for local website owners is having a webmaster that is available and responsive to maintain the content and performance of their website. Stagnant, outdated websites can often hurt businesses as much as they might help them.

With my background in programming, graphic art, web development and search engine optimization, coupled with experience as a business owner and general consumer, I believe I have a lot to offer when it comes to building and maintaining a productive, income-producing website. I also have, as part of my network, several other web developers whose expertise is on call when a more specialized need exists for a client's website. (That's where the 'about us' comes in.)
